Crama Mihai Sava
Small author winery - Mihai Sava (winemaker-personality), small production, natural & low-intervention wines.
Private tasting session with Mihai Sava (4-6 wines) with each bottle's story.
Worth it if you're into natural, low-intervention wines - a small grower-winemaker cellar where you taste 4-6 wines in a private session with Mihai Sava, with the story behind each bottle.
Crama Mihai Sava is one of Moldova's most personal wineries - the project of winemaker Mihai Sava, focused on natural and low-intervention wines. Pure author format: small production, no industrialization, no technological additives, wild-yeast fermentation when possible. The portfolio includes wines such as Sauvignon Blanc, Traminer, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot Rosé and Cabernet Rosé, from the vineyards on the Pojogana slopes near Lake Costești. Mihai Sava personally presents the wines at tasting, telling about soils, season and cellar decisions. For the tourist curious about wine science + winemaker-driven storytelling, it's an experience closer to rural Italy/France than to mainstream Moldovan wineries.
