Crama Tătaru is a family winery in the village of Pitușca (Călărași district), in the heart of the woods, founded in 2011 by Vasile Tataru, who had over 15 years of viticulture experience beforehand. It works 7 hectares with 8 grape varieties - reds (Fetească Neagră, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot) and whites (Chardonnay, Muscat Ottonel, Aligoté, Fetească Regală, Viorica) - and makes about 10,000 bottles a year, with wines awarded at Mundus Vini and Vinarium. Visits and tastings by appointment.
