Over the past 30 days, the most repeated search on g0.md was "a quiet space for a group of 6 people". It came back 30 times, from different people, in almost identical wording. That is a very precise request, and we wanted to see whether the city actually has an answer.
A note on method: capacities are the ones recorded in the g0.md catalogue for each place, while ratings, review counts and price ranges belong to the public Google listings, consulted on 10 August 2026. The figures cover only the Chișinău places that have a recorded capacity, 338 out of 523. The final list is curated by hand · each place is there for a stated reason. The search figure is an anonymous aggregate from our own statistics.
The first check overturned the premise. Of the 338 Chișinău places for which we hold a recorded capacity, 274 take a party of six. That is more than four in five.
So the problem is not that six people have nowhere to fit. The important word in that search is not "group of 6". It is "quiet". And quiet is not measured in seats.
You are not looking for a place big enough. You are looking for one small enough.
Look at the ceiling instead of the minimum · how many people fit in total · and it falls into place. A party of six in a room that takes eight is the room. The same six in a room for a hundred are one noise among many, and the conversation splits into three.

The places below are not a ranking. They are six different approaches to the same evening, and choosing between them depends more on what you want to do than on what you want to spend.
Wine bars nearly all have a courtyard or a back room and a low ceiling. Conversation is the format of the house, not something merely tolerated.

You pay for the room, not the order
