Traditional Moldovan thatched cottages at Cioburciu, in Ștefan Vodă district, right across from the Dniester. No website, just a Facebook page, and the hours are not public · you get in touch with the hosts. Reviews are long and enthusiastic. The hosts, Nina and Pavel, welcome you at their elevated home, then you walk down to the cottages through a lovely garden and vineyards. The cottages are decorated with great taste, in a traditional style, "everything done with love", very well maintained and spotless, each with a fridge and a place for barbecue outside. Breakfast is served with high-quality homemade products. One guest writes the owner even treated them to a short boat ride on the Dniester, another that the road to the village is excellent and the fishing "super". "We have never encountered such a beautiful place in Moldova", writes a family that promises to return.
