Ancuța's Pension is a traditional house on the bank of the Dniester, in the Șerpeni area (Anenii Noi district), about an hour from Chișinău, near the "Șerpeni Bridgehead" memorial complex. It offers quiet countryside lodging, a grill with gazebos, a baking oven, a children's playground and bicycle rides. Kitchen specialties: zeamă in a clay pot with homemade noodles, mămăligă with salty cheese and cracklings, învârtită cheese-and-dill pies, sarmale in horseradish leaves, garlic chicken roast. Activities: fishing on the Dniester, carriage rides, evening bonfire.
