Pensiunea Agroturistică La Mădălina
Rural guesthouse with meals in the courtyard under a wooden swing, traditional tiled-roof house and woven-reed fences
Full peasant meal in the yard — zeamă with hand-cut noodles, sarmale in vine leaves, cheese placinte and house wine from the cellar barrel
La Mădălina is a stop for people who want a weekend in an authentic Moldovan village, with no tourist polish. The courtyard, paved in a blue-and-beige geometric mosaic, has a massive double wooden swing under a thatched canopy, and the main house with its brown-tiled roof and woven reed fencing keeps the traditional Selemet style. The hosts serve home-cooked food — zeamă with hand-cut noodles, sarmale in vine leaves, cheese-and-dill placinte — at a long table in the yard. Wine comes straight from a family-cellar barrel. The place is small and intimate — maximum 12–15 guests at a time.

“Nice place to discover about the local culture, the history of the owner's family while getting tasty local food and great sleep. Very friendly girl showed us the really authentic guest house, and we were treated with home made food!”
“We were a group of enthusiastic people exploring the local historical landmarks, within the InnoVillage Program study visit activity. After the field work we were pleasantly surprised by a place where Moldovan culinary traditions and old village ambiance are found in the pure and authentic expression !”
“Quiet place in the middle of nowhere, where the tíme has completely stopped. Friendly girl welcomed us and showed the whole place, we even had some morning presentation in small local museum. Breakfast were really nice, reminded me summers at grandma's house. All setup, rooms, home made products, traditions made this accomodation the best in whole trip. I would like to thank yo…”
