Eco-Village Valeni is the gravitational centre of Văleni village — the destination that earned this Cahul-district village the UNWTO 'Best Tourism Village' nomination in 2022. The complex has restored traditional Moldovan houses with thatched roofs, white-and-blue walls with wooden porches, weaving, pottery and bread-baking workshops, plus a central brick-paved hearth with wooden barrels and ornamental conifers. Casa Dorului — an ethno-zone with educational programs for visitors, traditional meals (zeamă, sarmale, placinte) in the main house, lodging in small pensions with old furniture. The place is designed as an educational experience about the Moldovan village of yesteryear — families come for full weekends with workshops, gastronomy and a walk through the village.
