SAYHI Rāmen Bar
Ramen, gyoza, and duck bowls in a compact spot with energetic vibes and rock music
Molten ramen eggs and crispy gyoza served from an open kitchen with rock music
A compact ramen bar dedicated to fast Japanese comfort food—bowls of ramen, crispy gyoza, and rice bowls with duck or prawns. The vibe is energetic: rock music plays overhead, a young crowd fills the small space, and the open kitchen lets you watch the chefs at work. The ramen eggs are cooked to mollet perfection, gyoza arrive golden and crisp, and the staff take time to explain each dish with genuine passion. It's ideal for a quick, warming meal when you want something different in Chișinău. While the ramen broth leans sweet rather than deeply umami, it's still a welcome addition to the city's dining scene—especially if you're craving Asian flavors and don't mind a lively, buzzy atmosphere.

“A cute place with generally good food. The staff was nice and the atmosphere was comfortable. The food came quickly and was good, but not too special. Worth a try if you're nearby.”
“First time going there, loved it. Service was super nice, i barely sat down and the guy there was already pouring me a glass of water, ordered some gyoza and a bottle of beer, got my food about 10 minutes later and it was absolutely delicious. 60MDL for a beer is a bit much but that's kind of the case with most if not all restaurants. Highly recommend.”
“Had a lovely experience at Sayhi Ramen! I tried the prawns, the delicious duck, and some gyoza—everything was full of flavor. The atmosphere is calm and cozy, perfect for enjoying the food. The chefs are clearly passionate and took the time to explain each dish to me, which I really appreciated. I’ve heard the ramen is amazing too, but didn’t get the chance to try it this tim…”
- 20-min wait for a table in peak hours
- Ramen can be too sweet, not deep umami
- Small place, tables very close
