One of the few set-up campsites in Moldova, in a spectacular northern corner next to the Prut limestone reefs. Clean, with the basics done right and rare views. Worth it for a night under canvas with sunrise over the cliffs, if the long drive does not put you off.
On the edge of the Fetești landscape reserve in northern Moldova, the camp gives you a tent spot with water, electricity and showers, plus three lit gazebos for groups. It looks out over the Țiglău and La Bunica limestone cliffs, with wide sunrises and sunsets across the valley. BBQ gear and firewood are for hire. It makes a good base for the area: the Fetești reserve, the quarry with its sculpted rock, the cave in the Țiglău cliff and Moldova's only violin workshop nearby.
