Worth it for the 180° panorama over the Răut bend - the lookout point for the Orheiul Vechi complex, easily accessible.
Trebujeni Belvedere is the natural platform atop Trebujeni Rock (180 m above the meander) - the exact spot from which Moldova's most famous photograph is taken: Butuceni embraced by the Răut, with village, church and cave monastery in one composition. Access: 10 min walk from the Trebujeni-Butuceni road, easy and child-friendly. Best at sunrise (cool light on the cliff) and sunset (warm light over the village). In winter, when the Răut meander freezes, the landscape turns silver-white. Favourite spot of landscape photographers and drone pilots (non-commercial flight allowed). Combine with a descent into the village and a visit to the Butuceni cave monastery for the full meander circuit.
