Casa de sub Stâncă
Banquet-pension under the Trebujeni limestone cliff · large A-frame hall with hand-woven Moldovan rug, long tables for 30+ guests, and a stone fireplace
Full-day family event for 25 — A-frame banquet hall + traditional meal start to finish + corn-husk-doll workshop · ~700 MDL/person
Casa de sub Stâncă is Trebujeni's banquet-pension — a large A-frame hall with natural pine beams, a stone fireplace mid-wall, a hand-woven Moldovan rug with swallow-and-flower motifs, and long tables under white embroidered linens for groups of 30+. Walls are plain white, the focus on authentic textile art (rugs, cushions, embroidered napkins). It comes with simple small rooms (4–6) for overnight stays, but the strength is event hosting — rural weddings, family anniversaries, corporate retreats with full traditional menus head to tail. Open kitchen where you can watch sarmale and placinte being made. Optional weaving or corn-husk-doll workshops are a regional specialty.

“Very nice and comfy place. It was so quiet in our room, I haven't sleep so well in years. The host is very friendly, and the traditional food was so delicious, even it was so much (a lot of side dishes) we ate almost everything. Highly recommend if you want to feel the autenticity of Moldovan rural life.”

We asked and didint get any heater, temperature dropped to 8 degrees at night and it was really cold. In the morning the shower preassure was changing and hot water ended in the middle of the showering. No tea or hot water in the room.…”
