Vila Roz is the most flower-filled pension in Trebujeni — a modern glass-walled building under a wooden pergola, surrounded by a field of red poppies, pink hollyhocks and wild roses that bloom from May to August. It comes with a rare offering for Moldova: the host runs themed workshops — rose-petal jam in June (picking + cooking), Easter-egg dyeing with traditional techniques, plum-preserve making in autumn. The rooms are large and bright, with direct views over the flower fields and the Răut gorge. The pension is popular with families for long weekends with kids and with couples for photo shoots.

“Highly recommended - a wonderful place with an authentic Moldavian experience. The hostess is kind and welcoming. She couldn’t speak English but translated using Google. We ordered dinner, which was all homemade. The accommodations are basic, but it was the best part of our time in Moldavia. We also took the dog for a few walks. Thank you!!!”
“I want to thank Olga and her mother for a beautiful and peaceful stay. The whole accommodation is impeccably clean and surrounded with prestine gardens. They cook traditional Moldovan food and the quality is simply superb. They are also very helpful and accomodating with regards onward travel. Wifi is great and beds are comfortable. I couldn't recommend this place highly enough…”
