Memorial museum built on the site of the former estate of Constantin Stamati, the Bessarabian literary figure who translated Pushkin's works and was a founding member of the Romanian Academy (1866), representing Bessarabia. The surviving building-originally the summer kitchen where the writer received guests-now houses personal belongings, books, period clothing, coins, and family documents. A passionate guide shares stories of Stamati's friendship with Pushkin, his Order of St. Anne award, and the final years he spent here until his death in 1869. Outside stands a centuries-old linden tree, believed to have been planted by the writer himself.
