Hotel-Restaurant Valea Stâncii
Hotel-restaurant complex with a 200+ year-old wine cellar · brown-tile roof, carved wood and a manicured garden on the road to the cave monastery
Weekend with traditional dinner under live folk music + tasting in the 200-year cellar + Sunday hike to the cave monastery · ~2800 MDL for two with a room
Valea Stâncii is the closest thing to a small boutique hotel you'll find in Trebujeni — a white building with a brown-tile roof, black carved wood on the porch, an integrated garage and a perfectly manicured garden with roses and terracotta pots. The cellar at the back dates back 200+ years — Gothic stone arches, old oak barrels, cool air year-round. It serves a traditional menu with refined touches — sarmale with mămăligă, clay-oven lamb, stuffed goose on special occasions, plus a Moldovan wine list with focus on the Codru region. Clean modern rooms (12), private parking, ideal spot for traditional live music on weekends. More populated than the small pensions, atmosphere of a hotel-restaurant rather than a peasant homestead.

- Crowded on weekends with weddings booked
- Some say the menu has gotten more 'restaurant-line' over recent years
