The story

Prisaca din Luncă is an apiary managed by the regional Beekeepers' Association, with over 200 hives placed in the Prut floodplain. Specialty: monofloral honeys (acacia, linden, sunflower, floodplain meadow), plus pollen and propolis. The visit includes an introduction to hive life (with or without protective suit, depending on age), comparative tasting of 4-5 varieties, and direct purchase option. Located in Cahul near Piața Independenței — you don't have to go into the forest to see the hives (there's an exhibition point).
