Extensive traditional Moldovan cuisine: noodle zeamă, mămăligă with sheep cheese and cracklings, sarmale in vine and cabbage leaves, oven pork with garlic sauce, cauldron lamb, hearth-baked pies. Plus fresh Dniester fish menu (catfish, zander, perch, carp). Wine list focused on northern producers (Lobov, Glodeni) plus Cricova. “I don’t usually leave a review after one visit, but it is deserved here. The food is outstanding and, considering the quality of the ingredients and preparation, reasonably priced. Service was excellent. My waitress spoke English well but, even aside from that, the level of service was the best I’ve received in Moldova.
