Taqueria Bar opened in 2021 on București street — Chișinău's first 100% Mexican bar, with tortillas made daily from nixtamalised corn (traditional Mexican process) and meat marinated 24h. The menu includes al pastor tacos (pork with pineapple), barbacoa (8h tender beef), cochinita pibil (pork wrapped in banana leaves), pollo asado and vegetarian options with nopales (cactus) and mushrooms. Premium tequila list (60+ labels: blanco, reposado, añejo, extra añejo, plus mezcal) with flight tastings. Mexican cocktails: pitcher margaritas, paloma, mezcal sour, mezcal Negroni. Vibrant atmosphere with colourful murals, Latin music, table salsas (three: roja, verde, habanero) for self-spicing. Favourite for a lively dinner with friends.

“The place was dead on a saturday. Staff couldn't understand romanian. On the menu they said you can ask for a cocktail if u want smth different, i asked for a mojito, they just said-NO. The burrito was oily, couldn't even finish it.”
“Very friendly staff who couldn't have been more helpful. Talked through all the beers they served (there's a large selection!) and were very happy for you to try as many as you wanted. Plenty of space to sit either inside or out. Highly recommended 👌🍻😉”
