Maxim Pasha Hotel

A hotel at Șoseaua Hîncești 140/4, towards the city exit, which presents itself on its site as "a place where five-star comfort meets authentic hospitality": Economy, Standard and Twin rooms and a Deluxe Apartment with a separate bedroom, a restaurant with a Swedish buffet breakfast, a bar, two pools, spa and wellness, free parking, facilities for people with disabilities, airport transfer, group transport, excursions and car rental. Reviews are more reserved: "think of this as a 4-star hotel on the premises of a 5-star and you will not go too far wrong" · no feeling of luxury, with mattresses "as thin as in a hostel", but at a fair price; "good for a work trip", with good sleep and a big pool, "not hot water". The complaints are concrete: a room that was "a furnace", with the AC broken and its button ripped off, after a 9-hour journey; the pool is paid separately · 300 lei per adult at weekends and 100 for kids under 10, per one customer, 10 euros an hour per another · with no hot water in the changing room and a warning that, if crowded, the child would have to free the lounger; at the "poor" breakfast, the second coffee costs extra; and the free airport transfer advertised in the hotel's brochure "does not exist", it costs about 3 euros.
