Valley of the Mills Park (Valea Morilor) is one of the largest and most beloved public parks in Chișinău - about 114 hectares of oak forest, paved alleys and a 35-hectare artificial lake in the heart of the city, Centru district. Opened in 1950 on the site of two natural valleys of the Bîc river, the park offers: the lake with a public beach (swimming in summer, ice-skating in winter), the Verde Summer Theatre (concerts and festivals), the Romeo and Juliet Alley (cherry trees blooming in spring), a restaurant on floating pontoons, pedalo and boat rental, an open-air evening music stage, a 2.5 km ring alley around the lake (the most popular in Chișinău for jogging and cycling). Plus a playground, roller-skate track, street basketball, and Sunday-morning outdoor yoga. The green soul of the capital.

What the reviews say
19 reviews mention running, and their wording matters: people write „around the lake", not „on the track". The phrase „running track" appears exactly once in the whole corpus, although we listed it as a strength. The beach comes up 18 times and is real, with volleyball on the sand · a single review describes the water as dirty, so check on the spot before going in.
