EtnoVin
An author winery in Cricova - small-batch wines named after Romanian folklore.
Owner-led personalized tour with tasting of 4-6 traditional Moldovan wines from native varieties · ancestral winemaking methods
Worth seeking out for small-batch author wines with an ethnographic identity - found through specialist shops and themed tastings rather than at the cellar door.
Etnovin is a boutique author winery founded in 2017 in Cricova, where oenologist Mihai Măciucă makes artisanal wines in small batches. Every label carries a name and a symbol from folk culture - Ciuleandra, Viață Lungă, Amintiri, Pe Cal Alb, Cărări - a bridge between village tradition and contemporary wine. It is a niche production with no tasting space for visitors.
