The site says "the story begins on a patch of land in the commune of Purcari, around 1840": the estate has 17.5 hectares of south-west facing hills in the Hamza valley, planted with Rară and Fetească, "which have grown on these lands since the 19th century", and with Merlot, Saperavi, Fetească Regală and Fetească Albă; "the wine, however, is new": the first harvest was picked in 2016, and from it an experimental wine was made, bottled in numbered bottles. The 246.7 m² cellar is presented as "one of the first industrial wine cellars in the region", with an architecture "unique for Moldova", which, per archive documents, belonged to the Klotz family.
