Pensiunea Casa Veche
Restored 1908 manor in Popeasca village, near Et Cetera winery
Stay in a 1908 manor + traditional dinner with Ștefan Vodă wines
Casa Veche occupies a 1908 merchant's house restored with original wood, Bukovina tiled stoves and period furniture recovered from the Ștefan Vodă region. The 5 rooms open onto a 2-hectare orchard of cherry, sour cherry and walnut trees. Hosts arrange tastings at Et Cetera winery (5 km), Equinox (12 km) and lake Cahul walks. The kitchen serves Bessarabian regional dishes — răcituri, învârtită pie, sarmale in horseradish leaves, lamb in cauldron — paired with Ștefan Vodă wines. Bonfire evenings, hammock under walnut trees, full countryside silence.

“Amazing bed and breakfast spot, the hosts went above and beyond to accommodate me and make my stay memorable. Comfortable bed, clean rooms, AC, nice bathroom, and incredibly serene environment. The best place to rest and get accommodated with local vibes. A combination of village life and luxury. Also, delicious breakfast and food. Must stay here!!”

The only regret is that we could not stay few days more. Tetiana and Zach made us feel more than at home, but rather at friends place! It feels like we have been here for so long and yet we could stay for even more. Congrats to have se…”
“We came here with my daughter and two friends and spent two nights. Zaharia and Tatiana are two wonderful hosts. We went to the Nistru river, admired the nature and saw many rare birds. The food is authentic, delicious and divine. It has a very authentic rural atmosphere, fresh air and a lot of flowers. We are very pleased, we felt very welcomed and we will surely return.”
