Apartamentul 12 is an independent bookshop set up inside a flat on Vlaicu Pârcălab, a step from the centre. Google files it as a bookstore, but the place also works as a cultural space: shelves of books, corners for small shows, and rooms rented for lessons or small gatherings. It is the kind of place Chișinău had too few of · a stairwell, a numbered door, and inside a room where you can sit for an hour without ordering anything. It has only two reviews, both five stars, because it is new.
