Befly Garden is an interactive tropical butterfly house in Chișinău. The garden advertises over 1,000 butterflies and 15-20 species, varying by season, brought from the Philippines, Costa Rica and Africa · Morpho, Idea leuconoe, Parthenos sylvia and several Papilio species. Two reviewers, however, counted three species on the day they went, so it is worth asking what is flying before you pay. You walk among them in a green corner of exotic plants and a pond; the butterflies land on you, they do not bite, and you can feed them fruit. The staff are praised often and by name. The space is small and the visit is short · some stayed ten minutes. Good to know: it is best in daytime when the butterflies are active, because after 4 pm they turn passive, and the garden does not operate on rainy days. “Pleasant place to visit with kids. I have visited several kind of these type of places and what I wanted to mention here that the butterflies here are very friendly. By the way they can sit on you while you are walking in that place. you can walk with them only if they are sitting on the fruit. It is quite small, but cosy.”
