Clădirea „Moara Roșie”
The ruin of the former mill on Moara Roșie, with a restoration plan announced in 2024
A photo stop in front of the brick silhouette, above all towards sunset
Worth a short photo stop if you are in the area. It is a ruin, so come with realistic expectations and be careful if you go close.
The former mill building on Moara Roșie street, with its brick silhouette, by now a ruin. Reviews describe it as an atmospheric place worth seeing even as it is: one calls it beautiful, with great potential to become an urban focal point, another says it is interesting even though it is nothing but a building. It is a little off the beaten path, one visitor notes. Another mentions that on 1 October 2024 a restoration plan was announced and that in a few years it will be interesting to come back and see the result. A three-star visitor voices the frustration felt in the other reviews too: it is a shame that a building like this is left to decay. Another says you can easily go inside and explore, but the building is a ruin, so judge the risk for yourself.
