The National Botanical Garden is at Strada Pădurii 18, in the Botanica sector, about 4 km in a straight line from the centre of Chișinău. Google describes it as a large green space with reservoirs and around 10,000 species of plants, from roses to trees. Reviews call it very big, with many trees and ponds holding waterfowl, plus woodpeckers and squirrels.
