The Domnească Bison Reserve, in the Pădurea Domnească Nature Reserve, Glodeni district, 3 km from the village of Moara Domnească, per the reserve's page. It was founded in August 2005 with three bison brought from Poland, and between 2005 and 2017 it reached seven European bison, an endangered species. Open daily 8:00-18:00. Reviews describe a place deep in the woodland, well arranged and maintained, with beautiful wooden sculptures and picnic tables, very quiet · on a Monday there was almost nobody. Entrance is 50 lei per adult, children free, paid at a machine that accepts only cash and gives no change · have the exact amount ready. One visitor notes the bison, about seven on a big territory, usually stay near the entrance, so the chances of seeing them are good; others saw three, "slightly grumpy, busy chewing", and one saw a single bison sleeping in the shade.

“It was something unusual for such a country due to these kinds of animals being very rare! The entrance is 50 MDL per adult, and children are going for free. “Visited on 26 December 2024, we found 3 bisons 🦬, they were slightly grumpy, busy chewing, and didn't want to play with us. There is a payment machine that accepts only cash and doesn't give change, so have 50 lei prepared per person in cash. Overall, we really enjoyed the visit. The road could have been better, and be prepared for pothole avoidance exercise if you're driving.”
“Wonderful place to go with your girlfriend/wife or maybe friends. f they love nature, of course. Excellent for a chill walk in nature and very very quiet and reclusive. On Monday, when I was there, it wasn't busy at all. Actually, we where the only people. Have fun!”
