The hosts, Veronica and Victor, are named personally. The restaurant is used for weddings, and the food is described as good. Breakfast is available too. One visitor writes that the best thing about the place is the lake itself. The hotel side is criticised harshly and repeatedly: mould, peeling wallpaper, rooms not cleaned after previous guests, heavy air and dust. “Nice wedding venue, friendly staff and food is lovely. The hotel part is horrible, moldy fridge, wallpaper peeling off, mildew in the bathrooms, rooms not cleaned from previous guests and had to be promoted to turn it around after we went up to the room! Made feel unwelcome at breakfast, 2 tables set with placements and cutlery for some conference they were hosting that morning…”
“Awesome place for foreign campers! Once we found reception, we received the warmest welcome. We parked right at the back, on the side of the pool complex, where we found an electricity plug we were welcome to use. Great pool, fab showers and a separate toilet block by the rear parking area. Very friendly owners who made us feel so welcome. Came for a night and stayed a week, at…”
“Good place to stay for maybe a few hours, wonderful decor and scenery, the food is decent, but unfortunately the rooms are horrible. The pool is also okay-ish, the best thing there being the lake.
