Equinox is a small family winery with its vineyards at Merenii Noi (Anenii Noi district), where Constantin Stratan has been making wine since 2002 on minimal-intervention and organic principles. From around 7.3 hectares and more than ten varieties - reds such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Rară Neagră, Fetească Neagră, Malbec and Carmenère, alongside whites like Fetească Albă, Chardonnay and Pinot Gris - it produces about 14,000 bottles a year. Author wine in limited quantities; visits by appointment only.
