Worth it when a group wants different things: one takes a 45 lei hot dog, another eggs Benedict at 185 or a cocktail at 110, all from the menus published on the site. Come in the morning, it opens at 9:00 per Google. Before a late visit check the hours, because the sources disagree: the site announces closing at 0:00 Sunday to Thursday and 2:00 Friday and Saturday, Google says 23:00 and 0:00. If you are sensitive to noise or to animals kept indoors, read the 1-star review about the birds and the loud music first.
Gastronomic Theater is a multi-counter eating space at 103 Ștefan cel Mare boulevard, in central Chișinău. Its own site publishes four separate menus: a fast food corner with hot dogs, burgers and shaorma (45-125 MDL), Central Bar with 128 listings, from espresso to signature cocktails, Cafe Central for breakfast and lunch, and the Pâinea Casei bakery, where a French baguette costs 9 lei. Two older reviews mention operators that do not appear on the site: a Black Star Burger, in a 2020 review, and a Purcari wine bar on the 2nd floor, with a sommelier, in one from 2022 · the menus published today do not list them, so check on the spot. The cinema is next door, reached through an inside connecting door, per a 2021 review. Two cautions. The hours on the site do not match Google. And a 1-star review from 2023 raises concerns about birds kept on the premises, their sanitation and noise, plus loud music · the same reviewer later writes that they reported it to the authorities and that the birds were to be removed.

“There is a variety of choices for food options. Of course, mostly fast food, but you can find even vegan food and rolls. Drinks are another good variety. If you want to get to the cinema, it is right the next door, but you can get through an inside connection door. There is plenty of air due to the high ceiling and the bar type seats.”
