The Slobozia Mare museum documents the history of the mixed Bulgarian-Moldovan community in the area: traditional costumes (women wear embroidered fote with typical Bulgarian geometric motifs), agricultural tools, household ceramics. Star room: dedicated to the Mocănașii folk ensemble, UNESCO-listed in 2013 — see costumes, instruments, and video recordings of concerts. Ideally combine the visit with an ensemble event (summer-autumn).
