A cooking workshop and guesthouse in Slobozia Mare, in Cahul district, at Viilor street 12, in the Lower Prut valley, 170 km from Chișinău as the crow flies. The host is Tanti Mașa: visitors cook local recipes with her, stay for the meal and, some, overnight. Hours shown daily 9:00-18:00. The lunch afterwards was incredibly delicious and it was very interesting hearing hear stories about her family’s history and that of the country. Would highly recommend this experience to anyone passing through Slobozia Mare.”

While it may not be for everyone, I could not recommend it any more… it’s such a neat way to be fully immersed in a local Moldovan ambiance with such a terrific and joyful family. 10/10 (if I could)”
