The regional museum in Văsieni village welcomes you with a captivating ethnographic collection spanning millions of years of local history — from archaeological artifacts to traditional houses with painted green fences, spinning wheels, and wooden tools. Founded by Anatol Candu, the museum preserves over 10,000 pieces that reconstruct Moldovan village life: folk costumes, hand-woven carpets, shingled-roof cottages, and a wooden chapel with stone foundation. Best visited in the morning when natural light highlights the patinated wood of the exhibits and the traditional architecture in the museum courtyard.
