Sadova Forest

A forest resort at Sadova, Călărași district, on the L414 road, 47 km from Chișinău as the crow flies · its own site says 45 km. Google lists it as "Sadova Forest". The complex site, in Russian, describes three kinds of accommodation: hotel rooms facing the forest, 25 m², for two or for a family of four; apartments of 35, 60 and 100 m², for four, eight and ten guests; and a separate 120 m² house for twelve, with a sauna and heated tubs. Rates shown on the site run from 1,500 lei a night for the double room to 8,000 for the premium apartment with a terrace. For day visitors there are nine gazebos, each named, each with a grill and a table, seating ten to a hundred, between 1,500 and 8,000 lei a day · some by the lake, some next to a football, basketball or volleyball pitch. The restaurant has a banquet hall for up to 160 and hours of 08:00 to 22:00, on +373 61181100. For activities the site lists a cellar tour with a tasting at 350 lei a person, guided ATV rental through the Codri at 2,100 lei a machine, and coarse fishing in the lake at 200 lei a rod. The grounds also hold sports pitches, billiards, barbecue areas and Wi-Fi. Google reviews back the impression up: "the territory of the complex is very large, you are not disturbed by the presence of other guests", with "cuisine that deserves special appreciation, everything very tasty, traditional Moldovan" and "such a beautiful area near Chisinau, very clean, recreational areas and peace".
