Observator Astronomic și Planetariu
University planetarium with projected night sky shows and telescope viewing sessions
Prezentare cu proiector pe cupolă + observare directă prin telescop în zilele senine (doar grupuri de minim 6, doar în română)
UTM's small planetarium is a dome projection room located in the technical university's park, open only by appointment for groups of at least 6 people. Presentations are conducted in Romanian using a projector (not a full digital planetarium system), and tours include a brief telescope observation session on clear days. Suitable for school groups and families with curious children, but restrictive scheduling (weekdays only, advance booking required) demands planning ahead. Best visited in the evening for lunar and planetary viewing.

“not an actual planetarium - just a projector.”
“We visited the glider with a group of children and adults, and everyone was very interested. But we barely managed to sign up for the tour: the number was incorrect, and the information on the Planetarium website was completely different. It turns out tours are only offered on weekdays, by appointment only, and only for groups of 6 or more.”
