Purcari Wineries
Historic 1827 winery · vine terraces, oak-barrel cellars, and a restaurant pouring internationally awarded wines
Guided tour through the historic cellars + tasting of 5–7 award-winning wines (Negru de Purcari, Freedom Blend, rosé) + lunch on the lavender terrace overlooking the vineyards
As you arrive at Purcari, a cypress-lined drive leads you to a cluster of white monastery-style buildings surrounded by terraced vineyards and flowering gardens. The guided cellar tour descends into vaulted rooms lined with oak barrels that have aged Freedom Blend, Negru de Purcari, and other labels that earned medals in London as far back as the 19th century. After tasting 5-7 wines, settle into the restaurant's lavender-framed terrace, where each dish is paired with a wine from the estate and sunsets unfold over the Dniester hills. On Friday and Saturday evenings during warm months, live music plays on the terrace and tables are lit with candles. This is Moldova's most celebrated wine estate, a pilgrimage site for serious wine lovers and a must-visit for first-time visitors.

“Fantastic place . Great restaurant. Very nice cellars.unfortunately our guide was not that nice. He told how tired he was of two months work without rest. I was afraid even to ask questions. I mean it is not my problem that we are the last guests and that this guy is tired. We have visited 5 wineries in Moldova , but this one left the worst memory.”
“Great place, amazing wines, the tour provided by the guide Anastasia was very interesting, you can learn a lot about the tradition, the techniques and the culture of Purcari wine, 10 out of 10. Tasteful dishes at the restaurant. Peaceful sightseeing, and quiet atmosphere.”
