The good reviews describe small, clean houses that smell of wood, a restaurant with traditional food and an open fire, large rooms, a pool and quiet, especially in autumn when it is emptier. The complaints, however, are serious and converge on one thing: noise. One guest describes a night when other guests were drinking and so loud that the building shook, with music at 1 in the morning, and reception could neither move them nor intervene, so they preferred to sleep in the car. Another faults the continuous noise from the nearby motorway, which they describe as deafening, adding that the air felt polluted. A third says the internet is practically unusable and that the restaurant food is inconsistent: the same order, three days running, arrived differently each time.

“I’m sure nobody in his right mind builds a resort next to a motorway so the road likely came later but nonetheless. The sound is deafening and continuous, even using the waterboiler in the room doesn’t overwhelm it. The air you breath is clearly heavily polluted and it almost hurts breathing. We skipped the free breakfast just to get away from this all.”
