Unicorn is a family micro-winery founded in 2014 in Saca (Strășeni district) by Sergiu and Inga Gălușcă. The area is known above all for white grape varieties, which express themselves here with freshness and elegance, and the winery focuses on artisanal labels with regional character. This is one I'm especially excited about because it's something new. Unicorn Winery sits up on the hills around Saca, and for me the views are the star of the show · you look out across this incredible landscape of rolling hills that reminds you how beautiful central Moldova actually is. The winery itself is brand new, making the 2026 wine season an especially interesting time to discover it. I think it will become a great stop to combine with hiking, countryside exploration and wine in this part of Moldova.
