Unicorn Winery is a wine producer in Strășeni district, 27.5 km from central Chisinau in a straight line. Google gives the address only as a plus code at Saca, while reverse-geocoding the coordinates lands on the Strășeni-M5 road, about 800 m east of the village core · find it on the map, not by street. Reviews praise the wines and the view, and the host, named Sergiu in one review and Sergey in another, is described as very generous. Two things to know first: reviews from July and September 2025 talk about a tasting room that had not opened yet, and a 1-star review from July 2025 says flatly that “the quality of wines has declined”. The domain unicorn.md is not the winery’s site, it is a page announcing the domain is for sale, so wines, prices and opening hours appear in no source · the only contact channel is the phone number on the Google listing.

This is one I'm especially excited about because it's something new. Unicorn Winery sits up on the hills around Saca, and for me the views are the star of the show · you look out across this incredible landscape of rolling hills that reminds you how beautiful central Moldova actually is. The winery itself is brand new, making the 2026 wine season an especially interesting time to discover it. I think it will become a great stop to combine with hiking, countryside exploration and wine in this part of Moldova.

The owner, Sergiu, has great vision, much experience, and is an unbelievably generous host. The views are the best you'll have in any Moldovan winery. Their wines are excellent!”
