Vanille is the premium French patisserie founded in 2018 on Vlaicu Pârcălab street — a small shop-laboratory led by chef-patissier Diana Cojocaru (trained at École Lenôtre, Paris) reproducing French classics with obsession for technique and premium imported ingredients: Valrhona chocolate, Madagascar vanilla, French butter, organic eggs, seasonal fresh fruits. House specialties: à-la-minute mille-feuille with crème pâtissière (keeping the foietage crisp), macarons in 14 flavours (pistachio, vanilla-raspberry, chocolate-salted caramel, lemon, coffee), fresh fruit tartlets, opera, religieuse, paris-brest, lemon meringue pie. Custom orders for anniversaries (pâtissier-level cake design). Small space with 3 tables for on-site consumption + take-away.

“My friend and I stumbled upon this cafe quite unexpectedly. It is a Beautiful place, lovely ambience, friendly staff, perfect for a date or girls meet up. We tried the ferrero rocher cake and pistachio cake, both were 10/10, absolutely loved it, especially the pistachio cake, a very rich flavour and creme. I recommend this place for a lovely hangout!”

“The atmosphere was cosy and nice and indeed was a pleasant atmosphere and various options of cakes to choose from. However the Red velvet was far away from a proper red velvet, it was dry and you couldn’t feel mascarpone cream at all. The second desert with poppy seeds and sour cherries had a weird taste as well, none of the desserts been finished.”
