The story

Wines of Comrat is the flagship winery of the Gagauz autonomy capital — founded in 1955 as "Comrat Wine Combine" under Soviet rule, privatised in 2003 and reorganised under the current brand with updated portfolio. Located on Vinzavodscaia 1 in Comrat (140 km south of Chișinău), the winery owns 350 ha of vineyards in southern Bugeac, plus contracts with 50+ local Gagauz producers.
