A skydiving drop zone at the Vadul lui Vodă airfield, under the Parachuting Federation of the Republic of Moldova. Open Thursday to Sunday, from 7:00 to 20:00. The tandem jump is made together with the instructor, from 3,000 metres, with around 40 seconds of free fall at 200 km/h. The parachute opens at about 1,500 metres, and the canopy flight lasts 5 to 10 minutes. Ground preparation takes around 20 minutes. Reviews praise the staff, the atmosphere, and the fact that it is worth stopping by even just to watch, especially at sunset. One group, however, reports waiting over three hours and then being told the sky had closed and the jump was off · flying depends on the weather, so plan your day accordingly.
