Worth it mainly for groups looking for a training or retreat venue in the countryside: one review calls it a nice option for a corporate retreat thanks to conferencing facilities, accommodation and catering, another mentions a lot of peace and hospitality. Know before you go: the kitchen is vegetarian and vegan only and, according to one review, no alcohol is served. Bathrooms are shared between 2-3 rooms, and the Forest House runs only in the warm season with outdoor showers. Visits are arranged with the team in advance, even though Google shows round the clock hours. Without a car, the site points to the Chisinau to Isnovat minibus from the Central Bus Station, about an hour, then roughly a 15 minute walk from the Riscova stop.
An eco community and training centre in Riscova village, Criuleni, 27 km from central Chisinau in a straight line. The site says the group searched for a location from 2012, settled in Riscova in 2014 and, since 2016, has been building a training centre together with EcoVisio. Accommodation, per the site: 29 beds on the property, split between the Eco Training Center, the Residential House and the Forest House, plus 7 beds with three host families in the village, a 5 to 15 minute walk away. The price is the same for every option, 600 MDL per person per night, and bathrooms are shared between 2-3 rooms. The Forest House is open only in the warm season and its showers are outside, while rooms 1 and 2 in the Eco Training Center are wheelchair accessible. Only vegetarian and vegan meals are served, and one review adds that no alcohol is served. The site lists a conference room for up to 40 people, 3 workshop spaces for up to 20 people each, workshops on organic gardening, eco-construction, herbal teas and vegetarian cooking, plus marked forest and bike trails.
