A well-preserved 19th-century windmill that worked until 2005, standing in a quiet field on the edge of the village of Gaidar, in Gagauzia. It can only be seen from the outside, as the door is locked, but the place is photogenic and calm, with ducks and horses around. The European Union has announced funding for its restoration and conservation.
