Kuchurhan Reservoir is one of the largest artificial lakes in the region, formed on the Kuchurhan River near Dnestrovsc. Visitors come for Limansky Beach – a modest sandy resort with beach bars, umbrellas, and an easygoing weekend vibe. The site attracts birdwatchers during migration season: swans, pelicans, and herons use the estuary as a stopover. In the distance, the silhouette of the Moldavskaya GRES power plant forms a distinctive visual landmark. Summer is ideal for beach days, picnics, and sailing; spring and autumn are best for observing migratory birds along the shore.
