The National Gagauz Museum of History and Ethnography, in the village of Beșalma, at Strada Lenin 110, open Tuesday to Friday from 8:30 to 16:30, Saturday and Sunday until 14:00, closed Monday. Entrance costs 10 lei, per one visitor. No website. Reviews describe a small but well-organised museum, founded by Kara Choban, a Gagauz poet who dedicated his life to preserving his people's identity; the visit is "a deep dive" into the history, traditions, language and folklore of the Gagauz, "a cultural treasure in the heart of Gagauzia".
